All things beautiful

There are times I feel dry, empty and disconnected to life and those around me. For inspiration I look to the satin bowerbird who collects blue objects to attract its mate to his intricately built nest. In a similar way I look around for blue objects of God’s love, beauty and goodness that are lying around everywhere and gather them together in my mind and heart. Whether it is in music, art, poetry, books, nature, science, sport and the everyday ordinary lives of others beauty and wonder. I can never generate God’s love on my own but I can make and cultivate a home for the One who is the source of life and love.
