Artists strive to see things that are taken for granted, over looked, or not considered, and through various art forms enable others to see. Lynton has always looked at things differently and has a passion to interpret life through visual art.

Seeing enables an artist to notice the splendor in life-- not only in the grand and majestic, but also in the small and often ordinary. The other side to splendor is the dark side of life and artists are very sensitive to both in their own lives and others. So to alert others to injustice, suffering and selfishness an artist uses shock and subversive elements in their art work. Finally, seeing enables an artist to be aware of the sacred and spiritual dimensions to life and art can help make those connections.

Lynton's aim is to reflect these aspects of seeing in his artwork and continue to explore their implications for future work.
