  The Gate

This old rusty gate precariously hanging onto the wooden fence post is typical of so many gates in rural and outback Australia.

Symbolically, the gate reminds me of those moments in life that represent an opportunity to change and move on. We face them in our personal growth, the passages of time, in relationships, at work and also in hardships. To move through the gate takes us into new and unfamiliar territory with mixed feelings of expectation and apprehension.

Whatever gate we are facing, we have a living breathing God on our side walking with us to give us courage and guidance.

Available as an original.
