inspired by a slide my father took long before the high-rises and
coastal development crowed in. The image of a solitary lighthouse
standing visible in the midst of storms and darkness to provide
direction and guidance to passing vessels is very symbolic to me.
God calls us not to hide our light but to live out God's life
wherever we are positioned.
