  The Watering Hole

For many who live in rural communities, the local hotel is the watering hole in more ways than one. It is not only a place for a drink, but also is the meeting place for young and old to catch up on news, share a meal, tell a story, celebrate special occasions and welcome strangers. Believe it or not, but t his is a picture of what God intended the church to be,--- a watering hole in often a lonely and impersonal world.
