  Ross Creek Blues

The image of these boats stuck high and dry on the mud flats as the tide goes out reminds me of how I feel when I am depressed - stuck in the mud of negative thoughts and feelings unable to be the person I know I ought to be. The tide will turn though, and with the rush of new water, the boats can once more head for the open ocean. In the same way I need to remember that with the help of friends, support structures and God's grace the tide will turn for me enabling me to move on and face life with hope.

Available as an original and as a print.
